Save Me Now

You try and fly away but your baggage drags you down.

You try to sing your song but there is no one to listen around.

You call out 'save me now' but your loved ones are missing now.

 All you have is the people who want attention.

You pull out a knife thinking 'what is the point? '

Your friend runs around the corner and says, 'Don't you do it!'.

The emotions take flight and you start wiping tears from your eyes.

Your friend shakes his head and says he knows it's tough.

You slit your wrist and blood drips on the floor.

Wake up, 'its not real' ,whispers a child in your ear.

You're loved ones surround you when you wake and say 'You are not alone together we will finish as one'

But the battle in your head is as real as ever.
