Poem -

Saved

Despite the howls of despair,
That I think about daily.
I manage to make a smile,
And believe it, you've saved me.

Because without you it hurt,
More than I know now.
It was agony to breathe,
And I barely made it out.

But now, although it still hurts,
I can relax and take a breath.
Because with you, it is different,
With you, it's worth it.

My life may be a chain of drama,
With continous cries of war.
But when I fall asleep in your arms,
I think of it no more.

I adore the way you smell,
And watching you sleep is peaceful.
I love to hold you, day and night,
You. Are. What's. Real.
