Scars

Scars

Not all are visible,

but are still there.

Not all we show,

but hide deep inside.

Will you ever see

the scars that I have?

Do you notice,

Do you care,

or are you too busy

lost in yourself?

Too selfish to ever know

the pain I carry;

Too blind to see

what effects so many.

Don't say you know

or think you understand,

You can't imagine

or even pretend.

The scars I have

are not like any other,

unique to me,

and not all yet discovered.
