School Lunch Lotto

School Lunch Lotto

(circa 1980)

I am liked by Lunch Lady
in Middle School.
Somehow I end up with
an extra scoop of

mashed potatoes,
chicken leg or nuggets,
salsibury steak
fries,
spaghetti meatballs or
dessert.

I mean,
I am cute,
I am likeable,

but other students
get wise to the
favortism

and ask the lunch lady
why James
gets special treatment,

but that is how it can be
when the lunch lady is
your Aunt Arlene.
