Searching for God

Searching for God

This world domination
    Caliphate
         I am running through tunnels
             Searching for the prophet
  Hear O Israel
      ..... in the tunnel
         In the tunnel of God
   I am before the Lord
His holy water upon my head
I am walking in the sandals
Walking in the sandles of the Lord
 I,
     The beggar
   I,
      The lepper

I am suffocating in the tunnel
.... dying in the dust
I am looking for the caliphate
.....turning to rust
I am holding the book
......searching for God
In the dark I look
At what I have not
:
I,
The beggar
     In the caliphate
          Searching for God

Pondering and Ageless.
a never ending pursuit in which the prey is before you always,
yet elusive and whose hand is silent,
guided by the book of his wisdom one seeks to find him,
but one only does when they themselves have the wisdom to see he was there from the beginning.
God is right before you,
in the shadows of the trees,
The clouds and the rain,
the wind and air,
the earth and sand,
in the hearts of fire blazing within our world,
one must have the courage to drop the torch,
and bravely see the Lord in the Dark.
He is who sees us every day,
in a church,
At home,
At our best abd worst.
In Light, he is as the stars,
distant and remote,
aloof to our world.
but blind faith in him.
That is the true face of God.
For he does not do big things.
he works his hand in the tiniest of ways,
A drop of water here,
a quiet peace there,
calm of contention.
These are his trade.
He gives in small amounts,
but one sees the Lord then,
In the dark away from the light,
from expectation.
ONe may see the lord in the dark.
