Seasons

Sultry heat of night & day,
Flutter of auburn fall & lay,
Sporadic in dance upon soil & blade,
Vast in suburb & everglade.Β
Summer solstice in slumber state,
Dawn of fall, winter in wait.
Crisp tis the morning air,
Pumpkins carved & put out for scare.
Darkness dawns on shorter days,
Dazzling lights to all amaze,
Seldom share & come together,
Praying for time & whiter weather.Β
Rested, wanton of times a new,
Crafted plans for a new you!
All good things must come to pass,
Live for now & not the past.
