Seasons Queen

Queen Autumn; harvest colors in wake,
Bows to rival queen Snowflake.
Falling into a long season's sleep,
Diamonds freckle botanical keep.
Queen Winter of ice crystals stalling,
At springs imminent calling.
Secreted behind Aurora Borealis lights,
Tinkling icicles on lulling nights.
Queen spring; renewing smile,
Refreshed from a long winter's mile.
Waves scepter of manifold light,
Awakening flowers multi-colors bright.
Queen summer; zestier then spring,
Shines radiance over everything.
Balmy skies beam over the land,
Overseeing assembly of castles in sand.
Queen summer; glorious splendor,
Realizes one must surrender.
Sighing, regretful wane,
Yields to solstice solemn rein.
Queen autumn; harvest colors in wake,
Casts out tints, intent to remake.
Bracing lands for winter calling,
Dormant trees pocked leaves falling.
