A Second Chance

A Second Chance

To start life all over; Feeling all alone
But learning from my past; I feel that i have grown
All the things I've been through; And everything I've done
From the pits of hell; To face to face with a gun
Motorcycle rallies; A whole new group of friends
The danger and excitement; I never wanted to end
Lying and stealing; To make it through
A no good husband; Work, he refused to do
The alcohol and drugs; All the hate and hurt
To keep living this way; I'd be napping in the dirt
Reality slapped me hard; Right across the face
When all my evil actions; Landed me in this face
Sitting behind bars; Biding my time
Waiting to go home; And writing this rhymn
I finally realized; Only i could change me
Make my life better; So everyone can see
It took the experiences; That i have been through
To show my lifes real meaning; And start it all new
Im sorry to everyone; For the person I became
After this is all over; I will never be the same
