What inspires us to write heart felt poetry
To divulge our innermost thoughts and feelings
It's certainly not to gain fame or fortune
Ever heard of a millionaire poet
We don't hear those two words uttered
In the very same breath
It's a proven fact poets don't write poetry
With the view of earning a fortune
Poets write poetry to satisfy an inner need
To create, to inspire, to motivate
That tug at the heartstrings
That bring sunshine to dullest of days
That express every day feelings
In a most poetic way
We know when the words just fall into place
That something special is about to happen
We don't need to wrack our brains
Our innermost being writes the words
We just dutifully record them
And sign our name at the bottom
We are all secretaries to our souls

Hello Happy Jack...
People would get so mad at me, because I wouldn't write for money...
They don't understand that the blessings I receive, I couldn't earn in a week working 80 hours...
Since I joined Cosmo my health has improved drastically, there are times I really do forget I'm still sick...
I learn so much that if I had to pay for courses, I'd be wrecked...
I'm not on any medications and I do enjoy stunning Doctors...
Life is fun my friend!

Hello Happy Jack...
I'm sorry, I thought you knew...
I need dialysis and a transplant...
But, my heart won't allow me to be a candidate for either one...
There's no further tests that can be done other than my numbers for my kidneys...
I'm still walking, and I can lift heavy things still not for a long time but, I can still do everything I need to without assistance...
I know what to do if I'm in pain and I pay attention to what my body tells me...
I have been sick my whole life, but they didn't find the real problem until I was 22...
They said I wouldn't make it past 40 that's an improvement considering they didn't think I'd live past 4 Years Old...
I drive, I shop and I do everything of a healthy person...
I live life on life's terms and if I stop being positive mentally and everything I can lose this fight pretty easily...
I am careful what I subject myself to and too much negativity isn't good I have to keep it out of my spirit...
It would be easy to get sucked into that trap, but I can't allow other people's problems to take hold of me because, it's not my problems...
I know what negativity can do and I can't allow myself personal injury...
Things happen it's normal, but I have to keep my mental state and my peace in check because don't want to being on additional health problems that could be real bad for me...
It's not good for anybody but, I don't like not feeling good...
That's why when people are so negative I can't join them...
They're going to bring on health issues for themselves that I would much rather have this than that...
I know pretty much of signs to look for when my body's done...
There's no guarantee that's the actual death of me, and if it is I'm well aware...
