Secretive Waters

Through rolling rock formations

undulating the waters edge

reflecting the different strata

worn down forming a ledge

Light reflecting off the water

as the high sun gives chase

colours of an artist palette

mirrored over the rocks surface

Rich oranges through to cool blues

strata stripes running through each stone

the silence of this wilderness

creating the perfect chilling zone

Peacefully secretive waters

somewhere to chill  and escape

so strikingly mesmerizing

meandering through this landscape
