I see you but with no smile upon your face
No expressions to read just a blank mask space
Only uncertainty of survival seems clear
even as you speak no lip reading is there to hear
Sanitise your hands before I even ask
then keep your distance as a fail safe task
Don't socialise or intermingle
just stick to pairs or even better single
Realise the situation seems quite bleak
though in Pandora's box the cures are to seek
As was it only yesteryear when life seemed almost right
but look to see a vaccine at the end of the tunnel light!
