Poem -

See you later

See you later

I don't want to dwell on something that no longer exists
But there's something about you I cannot resist
Is it my mind or is it just time?
Both telling me something different about how I see you
Then and now
I never wanted to be like you
I never wanted to leave you
I never wanted to forget you
But what choice did you leave me with
Walk away from each other
Avoid and ignore
No one gets hurt
But I think about you all the time
I wonder if we will ever cross paths
In a small city like this
Places I try to avoid, I cannot miss
A game of pak man, a game of fate that came too late
Bump then crash
I miss you so much
Your promise to be friends, whatever that means.....
Moving on, this is not goodbye
It's a 'see you later'
