Ask hope to get rid of the 
Stench of wanting
Needing
And accepting

In a state of repair
Scars show fights won

Worn out and fading
Tired and needing
Weary and failing
Just the other side of many 
Of life's coin flips

To be happy
To be full of joy
To have laughter
To one day surrender?
Maybe just being simple you?

I will wait for another day some say
Pining for the past as the sun rises 
The dawn they miss
