Selfish acts

 has  committed selfish acts . Begged someone to live when they wanted to die . Begged someone to stay when they wanted to go . Asked nicely amongst the anti to be part of the family even when I knew they thought me not good enough or wealthy enough . Made my body do as it was told . Made a mess of getting old . Selfishly wanted to mend emotional burned bridges to no avail . Put others before ones own need and sometimes mine before others . Looked at the shiny with green eyes . Discussed (not out loud ) the possibility of taking a taken man . Self-conscious and self-centered is that who others see . And is that a bad idea . Selfishness is a protective coat for some . Self sacrifice for others . This self expectation , self explanatory , self aware . Whatever's easiest for short and long-term memory .
