Isn’t this a disgrace
People leaving rubbish all over the place
One would wonder what on earth the state of their own dwelling living space
But then again their homes are probably immaculate, so selfish ignorance must be the case..
Throwing litter everywhere amidst the clean countryside
Have these wasters no shame ?
Do you possess no pride ?
All of this filthy stuff will just blow around and it will never ever hide
Just like the problematic plastic plight betwixt that oceanic tide..
For pity’s sake bag up your refuse when you are out and about
You alone are adding to this world’s grievances without a shadow of any doubt
If your ancestors caught you doing this, they would definitely give you a clout
What a shame you weren’t brought up to respect one another just like a young boy scout...

A good write Jill. I have a friend who works for the national trust. She protects the pinewoods and beaches in her area. I have lost count of the stories she has shared on the garbage people leave, and the disrespect she has faced from angry public when asked to clear up their mess. Our planet is all we have, people need to respect it and nurture it x
