Send her happiness

She lies in her bed in tears
Because life is just too much
People listen but no one hears
All she longs for is a loving touch
She lives her life full of stress
Mechanical goes her day
Pretends that she's not depressed
While pushing those that care away
Scared to be close to another
She don't want to feel that way again
The way she was hurt before
Way back then
She longs for someone to love
And for someone to really care
She prays to her God above
For someone who's always gonna be there
She don't ask for a lot
Just some love that's not easily broken
Someone who don't care what she's got
Because her biological clock has awoken
The patter of tiny feet
That's made from a love that's pure
But no one she can meet
So she asks for a cure
Too busy hiding her face
She trips and drops her phone
She sees a man pick up his pace
Who says "allow me" in a softly spoke tone
He picks her phone off the ground
Fingers touching as he places it in her hand
She tries to scurry away
Because he doesn't understand
But he stops her from running
And tells her how pretty she is
He says that she is stunning
Asks for her number and gives her his
Two years later they
Marry in the spring
While awaiting the joy
That the new baby will bring
She is happy now with
No depression in sight
Being in love and feeling secure
Because she's got someone to hold her at night.
