Table Tales

Table Tales

Your kitchen table is a thing of beauty
Made by your hands, it's one of its kind
If that table could tells stories;
It would make millions jealous
Beautiful and authentic, it is almost perfect
Smooth to the touch of my soft hands
It’s curves are almost seductive
The wood is raw as nature intended
But damn do I hate it…
You sit on one side and I’m opposite
I hate it;
We should be next to each other.

The fish of the sea

Wow. This is such a clever write. The conclusion really sums up the reflective voice of your poem as is arguably the best part (in my opinion). Well worded my friend
