Sequester

Sequester

O’ how heartache bled
Boldly, incise bloodred
Remnants of disregard
Arrow cast tis keen shard

Pierced lovestruck vein
O' shatter stoic terrain
Thwarted notions cruel
Branded some kind of fool

Love tis game of chance
Impaled by wicked lance
O’ deity mighty sequester
Appointed role of jester

T’was kismet preordained
Hoard fragments remained
Cupid must humbly bow
Stung by what one shan’t allow

Wonderful poem.Β
I hope you are well and happy and surviving the storm of what modern day offers.Β
Keep safe and my best thoughts to you and all you hold dear.Β
