Set Free

Life will get better
Im waiting for that day,
That I'll be set free
So I can fly away.

Trapped in this cage of misery
A horrid 22 years,
Hiding the scars and sadness
Holding back the tears.

But do not mistake me for sad
For I trust my day will soon be here,
Ill be free from this chaotic hell
No longer living in fear.

In a place where I am loved
And I have a chance at living,
I thank God for all Hes done
And how He continues moving.

Hes brought this far and kept me
Through so many trials,
He promised He will never leave me
Regardless how many miles.

I have hope in Jesus
In Him I am made new,
Hes done the impossible
An He can do the same for you.
