Seventeen Minutes in the NOWย
(or The Was โn the IS โn the Now โn the WHEN
This is a poem
Wha! I rote
In the THEN !!!
โbout the WAS and the IS
And the NOW and the WHEN.!
โtwas meant to be smart
But the words wouldโnt come
They went where they shouldโnt
Now my Ego is numb,
That BIG BLUE BOOKย ย ย ย ย ย ย
โtwas meant to inspire
But all that it did was make
me dispire ...................( poetic Licence)
So I said to me self itโs
The NOW that I want
I will stop looking out
And start searching within.
I know itโs inside
But to catch it โs the key
Theย ย IS is elusive
Just so hard to see.
I just have to tame it
And tease it and such
May..be it will peepout
And give me a touch!
And then I will know
that itโs not about THEN
but the NOW that is isness
and theย ย Presence! ย Amen!
But this question of BEING
I ask myself NOW IS
ย ย ย How will the WASย and the
IS and the THEN ever make sense
if Iโm stuck in the WHEN !!

Holy Crap!! ~ JOHN MULLINS!!....... this is fantastically creative!!.... touching upon some VERY interesting philosophical questions.... in truly compelling poetic prose...... with a VERY interesting formatting as well..... the idea that looking "within"~ holds the key to all the answers we are looking for outwardly ....is one of the reasons I began my blog....... and that idea leading me into metaphysics and the ideas now being tossed around at Cambridge on "Intelligent Design"....... this is SO friggin' cool brother poet......I'm definitely looking forward to more!!.......ALL STARS...... well done...... and.......WELCOME to COSMO!!........LOVE and ROCKETS!!.......T xo
