Seventeen minutes in the Now or(or The Was ‘n the IS ‘n the Now ‘n the WHEN

Seventeen Minutes in the NOW 

(or The Was ‘n the IS ‘n the Now ‘n the WHEN

This is a poem

Wha! I rote

In the THEN !!!

‘bout the WAS and the IS

And the NOW and the WHEN.!

‘twas meant to be smart

But the words would’nt come

They went where they should’nt

Now my Ego is numb,

That BIG BLUE BOOK       

‘twas meant to inspire

But all that it did was make

me dispire ...................( poetic Licence)

So I said to me self it’s

The NOW that I want
I will stop looking out

And start searching within.

I know it’s inside

But to catch it ‘s the key

The   IS is elusive

Just so hard to see.

I just have to tame it

And tease it and such

May..be it will peepout

And give me a touch!

And then I will know

that it’s not about THEN

but the NOW that is isness

and the   Presence!  Amen!

But this question of BEING

I ask myself NOW IS

   How will the WAS  and the

IS and the THEN ever make sense

if I’m stuck in the WHEN !!
