Poem -

SEVENTY YEARS

For seventy years she has been on the throne
Her bottom must be sore but she doesn't groan
She's served our country with a wave and a smile
Done with poise, dignity, elegance and style

Our Queen has had misfortune along the way
Don't mention her son Andrew it's best not to say
Charlie is still waiting to be King maybe one day
For he is getting older and his hair is turning grey

Well done to our Queen on this special occasion
You've given stability and warmth to our nation
Though I'm not royalist I shall raise a glass
A platinum jubilee is just too good to pass
