Shadow

I’ve always liked my shadow; it's never left my side.
When I'm walking in the sunshine my shadow gently glides. 
Swaying to the rhythm of each & every step, sometimes it's beside and hiding when it's wet. 
I’ve always liked my shadow as I've watched it grow in time, the changing shapes but no breath it takes the silhouette of life. 
Disco lights flashing the bass is booming loud,
my shadow never argues that it wants to leave from a crowd. 
Sometimes it huddles with a stranger, it has no fear and sees no danger. 
My shadow strolls my shadow runs my shadow will always be
by my side till I rest aside then my shadow will lay with me..
