Shadow man

Shadow man

Where is thy master
And why does he not call
For it is now past midnight
The hour of need for all

Where is thy master
For in blood ye sit and stare
Amidst the ruined city walls
And the night so cold and bare

These streets are empty now
Charred by the falling steps
As ye head towards ye dreams
The dark of night dons best

The pub is closed
The street lights empty
The shadow man asleep

Where is thy master
The answer six foot deep
