Shadow People
A flickingΒ Panorama
Like a slide show
On the wall
Top hat on
Long flowing coat,
Carried a cane
It was dark
But black came thru
Black mass
Humanoid figure
Interdimensional being
Time travelers
On my wall
Smiling like the Cheshire cat
Fleeting distinctly human shape
Shadow pass quickly on wall
Frequency and intensity
Not out of corner of the eye
There straight on
In myΒ mind I heard
Itβs been forty years
I found you...
You think youβre so smart
You finally took a blood test

Everyone at some point have spotted a shadow drawn on any wall in a fleeting way, we have heard no noise and have felt a breeze without knowing where it comes from. Sometimes that shadow smiles as the grinning like the Cheshire Cat, other Weeps like a child frightened by the violence of the war, and on other occasions that shadow shouts like a Munch painting. A greeting.
