In the shadows

In the shadows is where she stays isolated,cold and alone in her insanity and drowning in this endless river of sadness, doubting why destiny is testing her like this.

She's lost in this enduring suffering that surrounds, glazing at her wounds questioning the reason she was here,

This feeling is consuming her from the inside, none cares or see how shattered she might be within, how lost she feels with her worn heart.

She held the dagger in her hand tremulous with the fear of what was again next,

Washing her pain away every night by crying and looking at the night sky wondering why misery become her lifeline,

She shout out but her scream is unheard in the darkness of her mind.

And then silence falls no shouting, no screaming, no sounds of crying nothing because the deed is done and as those drops of blood hit that polish wooden floor everything is over.
