Shadows

 May-25-1995
 Trisha Barrek Hopkins

Shadows
I can feel their presence
They're never in sight
I've seen before and I believe ever since

So dark
So deep
Can't see
You hear a distant weep

So black
No feeling
Hearts are what it may shook
It has no meaning
Your soul is what it took

Only at night
So quite so silent
Hiding in freight
No seeing it was meant

Shadows
Everywhere
In a meadow
Wonder if they care
