Poem -

Shark

And sometimes I feel

like I'm drowning;

alone in the ocean,

trapped in a cage

cool and cruel

and the sharks come after me.

And they try to rip away my breath.

They're hungry for weakness,

and in this ocean so barren and hopeless,

I am so weak and so very actless.

And the thing is,

I cry salty tears-

that go unnoticed in this big ocean-

and scream with every inch of my soul,

but little do I know,

the sharks have already won.
