Shark Tank

Shark Tank

It seems someone's always out to get me
Constantly throwing a stick in my spokes
Every time I get up I feel them pushing me down
Insulting me, telling me I will never be anything but a source for there jokes
Hated on daily or people pretend to care
Fraudulent fakes, an illusion of a true friend
Always dipping there hands in my cookie jar
And constantly looking for a place to stick a knife in
Borrowing things but never giving back
Or just outright stealing your things with no intent to tell you
They try and convince you they are right even though they're not
Is it not a thing anymore? The golden rule?
It's like I'm a clown fish in a shark tank
They are circling and waiting to swallow me whole
It hurts the worst when they are supposed to be close
Sometimes I wish I just didn't knowΒ
But in reality I'm glad I see the trash for what it is
And it's truly time I cut them loose
It's a worthy motivation
Set free by knowing the truth
