velvet folds
beneath my eyelids
crystals
amid the breaking wave
night
has come once again
and i
with the moon
am dancing
limbs like autumn through
winter tree
I can feel my toes
slipping 
to the stars
with the sea
voiceless 
atop
the highest mountain
I am free

Nothing is more awe inspiring than looking up into a darkened sky filled with billions of twinkling stars, Theresa.
It really helps to put things into perspective—how minute and small we all are in the grand scheme of the Cosmos.
Stars always shine brightest during the darkest nights.
People can shine brightly in the darkness as well.
