Poem -

She Finally Left

I knew it was going to happen, we all did.
But none of us, neither of us, knew when the tragedy would fall.
All of our bonds are gone, loose ends, tied, connections lost.
I hear you're with someone new.
I hate that it's not me, I wish you only knew.
I tried to give you everything, but I guess you can only take so much.
I guess you got bored.
I guess I was in denial.
But you're gone, and I feel like I'm gone too.
All of my best memories were with you.
I wish they weren't memories, I want that reality back.
