She has Wings
Do fly, so beautifully
You mustn’t hide
Like a caterpillar in fear
Of splendors possessions.Â
Do fly
Return to your blossoms
Weightlessly landing
On your favorite
Blue brick wall
Neon yellow
With every color
On the spectrum
Do fly
For there is
Happiness after pain
Like a rainbow that
Forms after the rain
Do fly
With respect and kindness
Warm and glow
Cleanse my pallet
With a sincere flutter smile
Do fly
Every day, spreading
Your wings as if
You are a newly awakened
Butterfly, free of captivity.
Do Fly
Near the rain
So that we can meet
At the end of that
Terrifying rainbow
Once again.
