She hides in the dark
Her soul pure like sunlight

She used to walk around the block
Late at night as dogs start to bark

She loves to go out
It's people she can't stand

She looks stone cold dead
Cruel world out there
So beyond her nerves to comprehend

All the letters she wrote by heart
She has no reasons to send

She carried the world
But She never said

Freezing in a lonely room
Lied on the broken side of her bed

Those Confused eyes
Aching alongside her restless mind

Shivering alone by herself
She wants to scream but she never can

All the pain that made her mad
Devastation she can only understand

She needed to forget
But She wept all night to pretend

She can't remember
Last time she hold a loving hand

She can't keep up
With the memories she never had

She moves slowly to adjust her head
Barely breathing
It's her skin she cannot bend

With all the punishment she endured
She's done nothing remotely bad

With all that aside
She's just a girl lost her pride

With all that said
She's not depressed
She's just sad
