She lives...

She lives in poetry, in her words on that same page that her tears created water stains, words so powerful they electrify through her veins,
That's where she resides. Because that is safety zone.
That paper wraps around her like a blanket that comforts her like no human being would or could.
Her pen is her weapon and the ink is her poison fighting off the intruders and robbers that try to break into her mind, her home, that page is her stage.
Where she has the power to move mountains with her words and release the aching fire that burns inside of her. A home no one could take, burn down, nor invade.
That page, that stage she made...is home.

So true. My girlfriend of three years was a newspaper reporter, and she also was a writer. How do I know she loved poetry and writing, because she wrote all the time.....she was an impressive poet and spirit.
