Poem -

She Will Lie In Wait

She Will Lie In Wait

I have gone astray to Sodom
After having a tour of Gomorrah
I shall not steal
I shall not kill
I shall not lust
But I could lie
Between the sea and I...
there are lies that are submerged
Low, in the deep and embroiled
                  Carnal reached into basic sin
And made it black
How to return from simplicity
I cry to the gods of infinity
Such as my undying cry
No more will I wonder
No more will I lie
                 That I was pure
Yes I rested
I've waited for my glory
Waiting to embellish my story
                     That I am prince
waiting to be king
Only seeking you
Looking for a pulse
                  To find a waiting heartbeat
Now I arrest
I subdue all I have done
                  See me within
                   Guilty with sin
It was not I who lied about you...
It was I who lied about me
