By shine through the rain

When I need you my heartaches but I know all I have to do is just close my eyes 
and you'll appear, always there holding on to my hand.

When the night and the darkness covers the light my heart cries out to you,
And you come like the wind  to stop the tears 
that rolls down my face 
and comfort my pain.

I remember you use to crying washes away the sadness but a smile will be the first step to happiness, so why has that step fade for me. 

my dreams vanish again 
they become nightmares of the night,
you're there to ease my fears 
to help me make it through 
and bring sunshine through the rain 

Those evening calls 
and the shadows all disappears 
you're always there to catch me 
whenever I start to fall 

When the world grows cold 
that I can't understand why you come shining through for me,
to shower me with the love you hold on to.
and bring beauty to empty place
