Poem -

Shining Star

Sometimes everything seems to bother you

Your grades suddenly drop

Your parents scream at you

You get pimples on your face

You lose courage to step up during class

You were once a shining bright star

But you realize that the brightness has long diminished,

isolating you in the darkness

You cry and weep

You fear the darkness

You are disappointed at yourself

But that is not true

You were always bright

You were always shining, until right this moment

You were just scared to open you eyes

You isolated your own self in the darkness

It is time to open your eyes

Face the reality

Don’t be scared

But be brave

Shine yourself to the world
