In many forms and sizes
Shapes and colors
So many shades of of whites, blues, and browns
Are they so different from one another

We have many pairs
And some we favor
Some pair we outgrown
And throw them aside for later

I will never force myself
To break my bank
If your boots are made for walking
Then let me break rank

Cinderella lost a slipper
And Mike has his own brand
But we all lace them the same way
