When students made mean comments to me as a teacher,ย (which I tried to never personalize),ย at the end of class as students worked on individual work,ย I played music on my tape player.....I would say,ย "I dedicate this song to xyz......"ย and it would be the song,ย "I am beautiful, no matter what you say...." by Christine Aguilera.ย ย The class always laughed at that.....
You quite clearly have a refreshingly balanced view on life and I bet you were (are) a great educator! ย Words can be the greatest tools used for betterment or detriment and the key is always finding the ones that will convey a message without hurt but with respect and awareness and if possible an element of lightheartedness..as you most surely did.Thank you for taking the time to read and comment..very much apprecated
