Should….
Should this river never show its source
Should the stars aligned redirect their course
Should winter rest an unrelenting hand
Should what once blossomed dissipate to sand
Should all that once felt fruitful fall to waste
Should mountains crumble from earths holy quake
Should tempests rise, solidify the light
Should eyes be left to conquer only night
Should all transpire to nothing but some dust…then
Should hope exist, in loves eternal trust
