Poem -

Should I?

Should I?

The fire burns
Within your eyesΒ
As you look at me
And see my lies.Β

In themΒ swarmingΒ
A sea of hateΒ
You say nothing
As I wait.Β

I start to speak
You turn awayΒ
I close my mouthΒ
Should I stay?Β

You turnΒ to meΒ
I see your face
You're weeping
I close the space.

You don't resist
As I hold you closeΒ Β
I tell you whatΒ
I regret the most.Β

Not telling you the truthΒ
Even knowing you'd forgive me
Pushing you awayΒ
For not letting me be.Β

You wanted to help
I should've let you
If you could give me a second chance
Maybe we could start anew?Β
