SICK

It started with my 
HEART 

Oh how it split it in 
TWO 

From their to my 
MIND 

Taking every positive thought 
AWAY 

But no, it didn’t stop 
THERE !

It overtook my 
EYES 

All I could see was 
PAIN 

No matter where I 
LOOKED 

My nails one by one being 
ATTACKED 

As I chewed them off to
COPE

From the anxiety and 
STRESS

If only it stopped 
THERE 

At night I get the 
CHILLS 

As my body trembles and 
SHAKES 

My legs move left to 
RIGHT

As my feet move rapidly up and 
DOWN 

A combination of this all 
TOGETHER 

Has kidnapped my lovely 
SOUL 

If only I wasn’t a victim of 
HEARTBREAK
