Signals in the sky 🌈

Signals in the sky 🌈

Captured colours caught a rainbow as I called your lovely name

but as I tried to find that pot of gold the rainbow faded what a shame

I understand the reason why it disappeared from my view
This rapturous rainbow was a unique message of our devotion sent by you

You were sending me your sunshine in amidst the April showers
to tell me that you loved me lots
I saw the colours of your flowers

The beautiful boquet you bought for me on our wedding day
Oh if only you were here right now but God took you away

I guess the good Lord up above picked you especially from the rest
You stood out with your kindness as your personality was blessed

Full of faithful righteousness
A genuine twenty- four carat gold
Alas today the warmth beside my body in my bed is always cold

I miss those midnight strolls we used to share under the stars
Nowadays I sit and reminisce from our memorable memoirs

I know we will be together again but my darling come what may
I shall seek out every little thing you told me on our wedding day

You said if you should leave me lonely I had to search for signals in the sky.. and sure enough you’ve sent me signs each and every day,
since the moment you made me cry
