sIleNCE

I gazed into silence,

saw grief, broken hearts, trampled souls.

pitiful saints.

So, i turned, and ran.

ran oh, oh so hard!

deeper, and deeper,

in-to the Noise.

did i find some relief there?

i did. but exhaustion too.

Then drifting, floating, toward

that other side of noise,

on that other side, there!

stood a hideous, jagged

wall of death and despair!

Shocked, astounded, i

fell backward, into silence’s breast, brok-

en, torn apart.

And found Peace.

Your composition had a wonderful fluidity whilst retaining a suitable degree of tension...An enjoyable write and I will look out for more!
