Silence

Drip drip

Drip drip drip,
the droplets hit the floor ,
collecting ,
taking up the space on the floor,
soaking into my clothes

drip drip,
the flow is slowing down,
mixing with my teardrops before they hit the ground,
the river getting bigger,
my head begins to pound

drip,
the flow is nearly gone ,
no more droplets flowing down,
just puddles on the ground

silence
no more drips ,
my veins are empty,
my body cold,
no more heartbeat pounding ,
slumped  down on the ground ,
in my velvety pool of crimson ,
there’s no more dripping ,
no more dripping

I sincerely hope this is the product of your very vivid poets imagination and does not reflect some dark place you might once have been ..

Enjoyed by me but hope your world is being kind .. Stay safe n well and write on ..  Neville :)
