Society

Society is cruel,
force a smile,
fake a laugh,
and the world thinks you’re fine,
but you can never show that you’re not,
society doesn’t like that,
it’s a tool of oppression,
forcing you to hide your depression,
until it’s too late,
and your blood is pooling on the floor,
your skin is paleing,
spirit fading,
life is draining,
and your gone,
everyone’s eyes are welling,
spilling tears,
wishing they had known,
but if they did they’d wish they didn’t,
just tell your fine and move along,
society says your happy,
but tell the world it’s wrong
