Siren's Serenade

Pray thee witless clot.
Fathoms tis sodden lot.
May woes be brief.
Abed in coral reef.

Cast to watery grave.
Spiteful blasΓ© wave.
Briny tears fill a sea.
O’ seadog nowt shall be.

Sunken gentle and low.
Whilst tides ebb and flow.
Sirens croon to thee.
O’ seafarer nowt shall be.

Slumber still in silken silt.
Serpentine seaweed thy quilt.
Rest in peace β€˜neath sullen sea.
O’ beloved nowt shall be.
