Poem -

Slavery

They see us as animals not people
Voices unheard
Cracking whips
Lingerimg terror
The filth of humanity prevolent
im more than a slave
dont you see
we cry out in the day
in the night
We feel pain
no one else does
injustice
i never decided my race or nationality
but it tore me to shreds
dismantled
broken
brittle almost dead
shredded beyond repair
one day theyll see
how wromg they were
