Sleeping in the Rain

Raindrops on my tin roof sound so soothing to me, thunder and lightning above. As I sleep in my bed breathing so quietly, dreaming away about turtles and doves.
The clouds form as the air combines, with different temperatures causing friction. Under my blanket I'm so warm and confined, I am blessed with peaceful benediction.
As the morning sun comes up on the rise, and the rainclouds fill the sky. I lift my sleepy head with surprise, to take a jog in the clouds cry.
Getting wet but never minding, I feel so refreshed as the new day starts. The clouds dissipate the sun is blinding, a sense of belief fills up my heart of hearts.

Yes, it is a very good poem. So soothing, as you say. All the best Joseph.
