Sleepless Night

Sleepless Night

Sleep. Sleep where are you? Melatonin come cover me like a blanket. I rest my head ready for bed. Waiting for dreams to dance in my head. But as I close my eyes to take flight, into this peaceful night. To go and explore what my brain has in store. I catch myself staring at the wall or simply staring at nothing at all. My mind is thinking, trouble sleeping. I turn and lay on my left side. I close my eyes and wait... nothing. Ugh what is my brain thinking? I twist and lay on my right now. Once more I close my eyes, waiting to take a ride. In the airplane to fly, into a beautiful peaceful sleep. To dream about a guy I like, or maybe something to eat. I open my eyes again. When will this end? Sleep please be my friend.

Thank you so much. I can't sleep right now so I wrote this. It is five o'clock in the morning.
