Slip Away
Slip away my precious Angel, float gently to the stars;
Someday Iโll come to join you, in the Heavens off afar!
I will love you for eternity, my heart is ever yours;
My soul will come and find you, at the entrance to Godโs doors!
Till then Iโm going to miss you, much more than I can bear;
Iโll look in all your places, but you will be no longer there!
My tears will fall so freely, Iโll sob several times a day;
But at night I know Iโll see you, for in dreams youโll come my way!
Then when I too start upon my journey, and softly slip away;
Weโll reunite in Paradise, and forever there weโll stay!
So smile down on me my Angel, send me all your precious love;
For I need it to sustain me, till I join you up above!
